London’s Can of Ham

‘Can of ham’ to rival Foster’s GherkinBuilding- Olivia Boyd – 2 August, 2008

…Plans have been unveiled for a new London skyscraper, already given the dubious nickname of the ‘can of ham’. The 295 ft glass and steel tower, designed by architect Foggo Associates, would be built in St Mary Axe, next door to the Gherkin.The developer, Targetfollow, said the 18-storey tower would “add a huge amount to the skyscape.” Planning consultant is DP9.
