Commercial Real Estate Index Registers its First Annual Drop – via Seeking Alpha – Per Moody’s/REAL Commercial Property Price Indices [CPPI] prices fell a record 3.0% in April to 2.8% below a year earlier. But on the bright side, the three leading office markets continue to show strength with prices up 12.2% in New York, 11.7% in San Francisco, and 10.8% in Washington DC. Overall, offices in the East showed a strong 14.3% increase in prices from the year before. – (Although some of us believe it to be a matter of time before commercial real estate starts to slide downward. – JMc)

Booming Indian Property Market beckons UK investors - Business Standard 23 June 08 via Seeking Alpha- Merrill Lynch consultants have predicted a 700 per cent increase in the Indian property market by 2015. Meanwhile, except in several areas in London, property prices all over Britain have recorded at least a two per cent drop in the last year due to the credit crunch and a further fall in prices is predicted.
